Taking a Full-Screen Screenshot

  • Press Ctrl + Show Windows key (the key with a rectangle and two lines, usually located above the 6 key).
  • The screenshot will be automatically saved to your “Downloads” folder.

Taking a Partial Screenshot

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Show Windows key.
  • Your cursor will change to a crosshair. Click and drag to select the area you want to capture.
  • Release to save the screenshot to your “Downloads” folder.

Taking a Screenshot of a Specific Window

  • Click on the window you want to capture to make it active.
  • Press Ctrl + Alt + Show Windows key.
  • Your cursor will change to a camera. Click on the window you want to screenshot.
  • It will be saved to your “Downloads” folder.

Note: The “Show Windows” key may also be labeled as the “Overview” key or have a rectangle icon.
