    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame)

  2. Cook Eggs:
    • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
    • Pour in beaten eggs and scramble until cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté Aromatics and Vegetables:
    • In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed.
    • Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant, about 1 minute.
    • Add diced vegetables and cook until tender-crisp.
  4. Add Rice and Combine:
    • Add cold rice to the pan, breaking up any clumps.
    • Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until rice is heated through.
  5. Season and Finish:
    • Add soy sauce and mix well.
    • Return scrambled eggs to the pan, and add any optional protein.
    • Stir everything together and cook for another minute.
  6. Serve Immediately:
    • Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
