Methods for Taking Screenshots on Windows

There are several ways to capture screenshots on Windows, depending on your needs:

1. Print Screen (PrtScn) Key
   • PrtScn: Captures the entire screen to clipboard.
   • Alt + PrtScn: Captures only the active window to clipboard.
   • Windows + PrtScn: Saves full screenshot as image file in Screenshots folder.
2. Snipping Tool
   • Search for “Snipping Tool” in Start Menu
   • Choose from free-form, rectangular, window, or full-screen snips
   • Annotate and save your screenshot
3. Snip & Sketch (Windows 10/11)
   • Press Windows + Shift + S
   • Select area to capture
   • Image copies to clipboard for editing/saving
4. Game Bar (Windows 10/11)
   • Press Windows + G
   • Click camera icon or use Windows + Alt + PrtScn
   • Saves screenshots to Captures folder
