Methods to Format Multiple Cells Simultaneously

You can format multiple cells at once in Excel using these methods:

  1. Select Contiguous Cells: Click and drag your mouse across the cells you want to format.
  2. Select Non-Contiguous Cells: Hold the Ctrl key (Cmd on Mac) while clicking individual cells or ranges.
  3. Select Entire Rows/Columns: Click the row number or column letter.
  4. Select All Cells: Press Ctrl+A (Cmd+A on Mac) or click the triangle in the top-left corner.

Once selected, use the Home tab to apply formatting like font styles, colors, borders, number formats, or alignment to all selected cells simultaneously.
