Steps to Change Your Name on Facebook

1. Log into your Facebook account.
2. Click on your profile picture in the top right to go to your profile.
3. Click on the three dots (…) next to ‘Edit Profile’ and select ‘Edit Name’.
4. Enter your new first, middle, and/or last name.
5. Review your name change and click ‘Review Change’.
6. Enter your password and click ‘Save Changes’.

Important Notes

• You can only change your name every 60 days.
• Your name should match your real name as it appears on official documents.
• Facebook may require you to provide documentation to verify your name.
• If you recently changed your name, wait 48 hours for it to update across all Facebook features.
