What is Cache?
Cache is temporary data stored by your browser or apps to help websites and applications load faster on subsequent visits.
Why Clear Cache?

How to Clear Browser Cache
- Chrome: Click the three dots → “More tools” → “Clear browsing data” → Select “Cached images and files” → “Clear data”
- Firefox: Click the menu button → “Options” → “Privacy & Security” → “Cookies and Site Data” → “Clear Data”
- Safari: Go to “Safari” menu → “Preferences” → “Advanced” → Check “Show Develop menu” → “Develop” menu → “Empty Caches”
- Edge: Click the three dots → “Settings” → “Privacy, search, and services” → “Choose what to clear” → Select “Cached images and files” → “Clear now”
How to Clear App Cache
- Android: Settings → Apps → Select app → Storage → Clear Cache
- iOS: Offload app (Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Select app → Offload App) or delete and reinstall
Note: Clearing cache will not delete your login information or saved passwords, but may temporarily slow down websites as they reload all content.
